You’ve Come a Long Way, Baby!

Who would have thought that Apple would eventually have a lawsuit brought against them, misguided though it may be, accusing them of being a monopoly? I’m no lawyer, but I’m guessing that they won’t be able to win this one against Apple.
It sounds to me like they are saying that Apple is a monopoly simply because the iPod is so popular. If that’s the case, then why not sue Microsoft because over 90% of PCs won’t run the Mac OS?
To be more specific, the claim is that Apple is monopolizing the digital music business by not allowing certain types of digital music, like WMA files, to play in iTunes and on iPods (are there that many people demanding to play WMA files on a digital music player?).
It’s bad press for Apple because people are saying their name and the word “monopoly” in the same sentence, but that’s all there is to this one: just another bogus lawsuit.
